Description

On May 4th, the Shrine is having their annual May Crowning ceremony, with a procession proceeding it.  We need flower girls, banner bearers, and statue carriers for it. Here is what you need to know:

Girls who are in high school are welcome to be statue carriers, middle school girls can carry the banner, and all younger girls will be dropping flower petals for Our Lady.

We will meet in the pilgrimage office, across from the restrooms in MOM Hall.

Statue bearers need to be there by 10:15, everyone else by 10:30.

Families will be sitting with their girls; banner bearers, flower girls, and their families will be sitting behind the center partition area, halfway down MOM Hall;

Statue bearers and their families, however; will be sitting at the very front-right.

Girls are asked to wear White knee length dresses and White or Silver shoes, preferably with no heel.

It is suggested to bring a shawl if it is supposed to be cool the day of; white, silver, gold, or blue.

The Procession will be after the Mass, with the Crowning of Mary to follow. If you cannot make it to the Mass at 11, you are welcome to come for the procession and crowning afterwards. The procession is likely to begin around 12, so girls who are coming late are asked to be there by 11:45, and they can meet in the pilgrimage office as well.
